Apparently crashing the new Firefox 4.0b4 is as simple as:
Open Quicktime video on browser
play
bammm!
Now that was easy wasn't it? The problem should be fixed before Firefox 4 is released, especially since tabs are supposed to be running on separate processes and should not bring the whole browser down when there is a plugin crash.
My suspicion is that Firefox allowed the Quicktime plugin to cross some memory boundary causing a segfault exception to be raised. Go figured... The bug was already reported using the Crash Reporter utility.
Upgrading to Ubuntu Lucid 10.04

Los gringos usan "LOL" para indicar por el net o en mensajes cortos que se estan riendo. LOL no suena muy apetecedor en español. Recientemente noté que la gente de habla hispana estan usando las siglas "CMC" (casi me cago) para indicar que se estan riendo.
Me parece muy jocosa la palabrita esa. Así que también empecé a usarla. :-)

Gracias a este artículo de About.com pude escribir un simple cliente en Ruby que crea un archivo con mi último estado en Twitter. Fue simple. Pensé que iba a durar más tiempo escribiendo código innecesario.
Aquí está el script para aquellos que le interese. Sólo tienes que ejecutarlo de la siguiente forma:
./twitter.rb > tweet.html
En mi caso lo puse en un cron como el siguiente, para que ejecute cada 5 minutos:
